Silver Dollar City Shows for 2008

Street Troup Street Troupe
(Main Street)

Those hilarious SDC characters are at it again, creating mischief, shenanigans and special memories with their unique brand of Ozark humor. These highly skilled, impromptu actors make comedy look easy as they miraculously extemporize any situation that comes their way. And the troupe is always on the lookout for willing volunteers from the audience to become part of the action, whether it be in a comedic skit or in a heart-felt tribute to American veterans saluting Old Glory.

Saloon Choctaw Charlie's Frontier Follies
(Silver Dollar City Saloon)

Charlie welcomes his trusty sidekick, Dusty Chaps, to join the Silver Dollar gang in this fun-filled comedy and music extravaganza.

Cedric Cajun Connection
Perennial Silver Dollar City favorites, Cedric Benoit and the Cajun Connection unleash a whole new torrent of their signature up-tempo, toe-tappin’ showstoppers. Whether the music is Cajun, Zydeco, country or good old time rock ‘n roll, the group’s performances are bound to stop traffic around the Dockside theatre and leave everyone within earshot feeling good. Featured performers include songwriter, singer and Cajun accordion player Cedric Benoit.

Horsecreek Pic Horsecreek Band
(Boatworks Theatre & Gazebo)

These experienced professionals combine for an astounding 108 years of entertainment at SDC; it's no wonder they have so many dedicated fans. Their easy-going, amiable style makes even the first-time audience member feel at home. Whether they’re performing bluegrass, gospel or western swing favorites, these gentlemen are the epitome of Ozark hospitality.

Sons SDC Sons of the Silver Dollar
From the singing of the National Anthem on the City's square to festival favorites throughout the year, the Sons of the Silver Dollar have been dubbed Silver Dollar City's resident "cowpokes". Be entertained by the trio's tight harmonies and incredible vocal talents.

Echo Hollow GAC Nights in Echo Hollow
We invite you to join us in celebrating 25 years of great country music in Echo Hollow! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet and sing along with this All-NEW show for 2008. In honor of Echo Hollow Amphitheatre's silver anniversary, Great American Country & Silver Dollar City are proud to present GAC Nights in Echo Hollow featuring a talented cast of singers and dancers who will keep your toes tapping into the evening and comedy for the whole family to enjoy. Come see the stars on stage and in the night sky - each evening at park closing, weather permitting.

Homestead Pickers Mchaffie's Homestead
Step into life in an 1880s Ozark homestead at McHaffie's Homestead on the Silver Dollar City Square. A real, hewn-log cabin built in 1843 by the pioneering Levi Casey family, it was home to the McHaffie family before it was reassembled and preserved at Silver Dollar City in 1960.
Pure Heart Pure Heart
Step onto Silver Dollar City's Main Street and be entertained by the rich melodies of Pure Heart. No one harmonizes like family or teases like a sister, and Pure Heart has been delighting visitors with beautiful vocals and family stories for years. The Western Music Association's 2006 western style yodeling champion, Teresa makes up half of this dynamic duo and will amaze you with her vocal acrobatics. Join these talented siblings for a little country flair!
